What happened to the mirrors with the Rumbel subs? I don’t know if its Tadashi that does this, but every subbing job other than Rumbel totally screws up the translations for common terms in this show. For instance, in the manga, Maka, Black Star, Kid, etc are referred to as ‘technicians’, not ‘meisters’ or ‘masters’. And as for the subbers who use the reddish font, I refuse to watch anything that translates ‘shinigami’ to ‘grim reaper’. They may be similar in cultural meaning, but they are still different, and with the popularity of Bleach and Death Note, I enough people know what a shinigami is that it doesnt need translation
Hey ‘thedude’ relax. Not everyone would know what a Shinigami is, and a Shinigami translated in English is actually ‘God of Death’ which can be referred to as the ‘Grim Reaper’
