My limited grasp on Spanish didn’t really help matters.

The series will be 51 episodes long according to my personal source(Wikipedia).
Since Funimation’s already licensed the anime for the English dub, I’m curious about who they’ll cast for the voices. Anyone else think Sean Schemmel = Shinigami?
im guessing stein will go completely insane and get stuck in the hell in his mind and he’ll see himself as he was younger and figure out a way to overcome insanity lol
But what fun is that? Nope, Stin is gonna go evil, I hope, then when Maka, Kid and Sta are fighting Arachne or the First Kishin, he will regain himself.
Thats just my two cents, anyway.

my favourite is black star and soul.. the whole idea of their deamon sides should in my opinion be the main part of the story..

D: Aww admin, Im sorry for all of us Soul Eater fan got shutdown by (more than likely Funimation) some company. I understand their plight with the whole “its stealing”, “youre pirates”, and woohoo, but subs actually help promote the anime. Seriously, I wouldnt give dubs a chance unless I was already a fan of the anime. Sooooo thatd mean they wouldnt get a penny out of me for the DVDs or manga unless I had already “previewed” (the whole series*cough*) and loved it. And cmon we are anime nerds, theyll get our attention and money regardless, especially when they dont bother our acts of fandom… Naruto/Bleach/Death Note anyone? Fansubs help bring those shows overshores.
One last thing… this anime should be waaaaaay more popular. The presentation in all aspects is really good, this company should do more animes… they could save Mr. Filler Naruto and Sir Bleach McTalkForHours Z! The core of soul eater is good too, they take cartoony, somewhat one dimesional, characters up against comple villians and situations… and also EX-CALI-BUUUR!

honestly, i think this website needs to stop posting who’s doing the fansubs, or just stop posting at all. how the hell do you think funimation finds out who’s still subbing their stuff? if people will start being a little more discreet, maybe we could all enjoy our anime longer.

I suppose they change the anime around for different reasons– it could be due to budget, or because they feel that if it follows the manga perfectly, that removes the impact of the plot, because every reader already knows exactly what’s going to happen and when. (Basically, just watching to see it in animated action. xD)
But I have to admit, I enjoy when it’s a “DIRECT ADAPTATION” and not an “ADAPTATION/DIFFERENT STORY”. >w>;

kid is actually an adopted son. asura’s his biological father… shinigami and asura turned tables when asura found out that shinigami was actually having an affair with his wife/weapon and thus he went crazy and swallowed his wife (in weapon form) and went to a showdown with shinigami…. apparently he lost… sad story…. i think i’m gonna cry.
idk which comment this is but i think its awesome that this episode is about stein!He kinda reminds me of me.I’m inwardly psychopathic but control it pretty well.

Guys, I must say… this is a damn good anime. However, all good anime’s come to an end, and when they do and the fans are like ‘Holy shit that was sick I want more!’ then the manga/anime has done it’s job. I can’t wait to see how this unfolds and am savoring the last moments. If Funimation stops this now in its final stages, I’ll be extremely pissed, and so will every other fan. I don’t know about you guys, but if those Nazi’s think they can do that, it’ll be the last thing I ever read or watch from them.

I hope they do the same type of deal that they did with Full Metal Alchemist, ie: have 50-60 episodes then finish it off with a very satisfying movie.

plus, idk if anyone else has come to this conclusion, but i personally think it makes alot of sense…
I think that Asura is death the kid’s brother, and thus, Shinigami’s elder son.
The similarities in their looks are uncanny, and as Kid becomes more and more suspicious of his father’s actions, you can see how the same thing may have happened to Asura.
Anyway, that is just my personal thoughts, and i just wated to see if anyone else thought the same.
