This show is based on madness, friendship, and betrayal like most of the animes. All of the media likes to play on emotions. I don’t know why even i’m posting this… Maybe so people start thinking about what is happening.

I had no idea about this anime up untill 5-6 days ago when I accidentaly watched a soul eater amv on youtube ( I feel stupid but yes i didn’t know about soul eater )
I watched the first episode and then went right to bed. Next day I was at my place with a friend and dicided to watch the series together. She only watched like 3-4 episodes with me then she had to go so I went on.
The thing is that NOW I can relate my curent real life situation with this series with her and me in the roles of Maka and Soul. It’s the power of the animation
Sounds stupid but since you allready clicked on the ep.44 link it’s most likely that you did that just to read the comments, so enjoy this little boring little story while you wait some days for 44

Yes, I think there will be only 50-51 episodes. But think about it: Would you rather it end on a good note or go on and on forever like Bleach and it getting repetitive and boring after a while? I’d say the shorter anime are some of the best and the plotline isn’t overused and it doesn’t last forever and ever. :3
I’d rather have the series go on. Albeit, this is from a website owners’ point of view rather then a fan of the series point of view. I wonder what I will do with the site once it is finished. Maybe Ill just leave it up for people who have not seen the show yet and give em the chance to enjoy it as we have.

Everyone! Please support the show when it sees a U.S. release! The anime will be released in 4 half-season box-sets starting November 17,2009! The manga will be released sometime in October!

I read your posts in this page and I think it is a good idea to leave the site up and to make a sister site but (this is just a suggestion) you should put something here that you can also put on the sister site, like a TradeMark or something that let’s people know that both sites belong to you, meaning it’s going to be another quality site. Or is it because medusa’s snake sword is even more powerful than Ragnorok? But I guess we’ll all find out on the next episode.**

At least Soul Eater has 50 episodes. Death Note only had 37 (38 counting the director’s cut) It was over too fast. But I’m kind of glad it’s not like Naruto, Bleach, Inuyasha, etc, etc that has like 200+ episodes T_T I might be the only one who thinks that though lol I think I’m just impatient

Look, I hope it does end at Episode 50-51..hear me out on this.
The plotline after they defeate the kishin will get incredibly boring and here’s why,
#1.They may all die and the Kishin win, sorry to say it but it is a possible outcome.
#2.Say they do defeat the Kishin…what then? I mean yeah we COULD watch Maka, Black Star, and Death the Kid get 99 Kishin Egg Souls, and 1 Witch’s Soul, (198 Kishin Egg Souls and 2 Witch’s Souls for Death the Kid)
#3.A prologue series about the exploits of Stein, Maka’s father (his name always escapes me), and Maka’s mother. Which I would actualy find interesting.
#4.They can always make an OVA.
So there’s some of many outcomes that could come about. Personaly Soul Eater is one of my absolute favorites…but if they keep the plot going or God forebid them leaving it at a cliffhanger, i’ll be considerably upset cause it WILL eventualy get stale if the same stuffs always happening. But I digress =P

I understand not letting the story get stale and all, but I LOVE Soul Eater. I mean..
Since Soul Eater has come into my life, I have waited on the edge of my seat all week every week waiting for the subs. I don’t know what I’m going to watch after wards… Probably watch it all over again from the beginning and… then again. I dunno. This series… I love how everything has to do with madness taking over the world… and the characters are SOOOO well done I find myself feeling what they feel…
And the only thing I could say that is bad about soul eater is the Excalibur eps. That’s it for me.
Its going to be like… devastating to me when it’s all over. And yet, I want it to end on a good note.

It might not end on 51 exactly, since Soul isnt a Death Scythe yet and they’re nowhere near. Might end sometime around 60th since 50 was a guideline ;p
Hmm…ok Alex I see where your coming from, cause I mean…after they kill the Kishin, or bind him, whichever stops the problem they’ll still have to deal with Medusa and Free, which Free (Demon Eye) is immortal so I mean…lol that’ll be a tough one to deal with. That and i’d love to meet Maka and Death the Kid’s mothers cause that’d be realy cool to see imo. Backstory wise that’d be a great setup for a continuation of the series or even some OVAs. That and we can always see what plays out for Shibusen say 5 or 10 years after the Kishins defeat…i’d love to see what they’d all look like in their early 20′s and 30′s (30′s would be for the Thompson Sisters). Dragon Ball Z wise, if Soul Eater doesn’t get gay with it I wouldn’t mind seeing that lol…but hopefully they won’t do a new universe or cast cause I gotta tell you I couldn’t watch anyone else do what they do, their simply too good at it lol.

I remember when the first soul eater episodes were aired in japan one year ago and in the same day or after 1 day they were subbed.
Later in order to sub one episode it took 2 days etc.
Now we must w8 5-6 days which is rediculous

sadly due to the translator’s stupid internet connection, the dl couldn’t get any faster. thus the slow translation, thus the slow release. the translations is finally done. what’s left is the checking and stuff. hopefully it’d be out by soon.

Actually this show could be longer this is what can happen they are about to beat the kishin then another kishin awakens comes and steals the kishin’s power thus starting another story. A lot of things can happen i just hope the endings good because i really love this anime and i don’t want it to end bad or end continuesly like some anime. Please don’t let that happen
