Bakami! It doesn’t matter, Crona could be a guy, and Ragnarok could be gay or a female. The other way is possible to, Crona is a girl and Ragnarok is a lesbian or is a male. And also it’s clear that Crona’s gender was made to be questionable/unknown, because the writer of the anime himself, when asked, says he doesn’t know whether Crona is a guy or girl.

There are things about Chrona that make it seem like it’s a male, but there are more things that make her seem like a female.
I just assume Chrona is a girl. xD Though she kept making me switch my opinions throughout the anime. Bah, I don’t care what gender Chrona is, she’s still one of my favorite characters.
I strangely don’t love most of the main characters except for Kid, Liz and Patty. (I don’t hate the characters like Maka, Tsubaki, Black Star, ect, they just don’t appeal to me a lot for some reason…)
I like the side characters such as Ox+Havar and Kilik+Thunder+Fire. xD They were so awesome in the manga where they infiltrated the castle and the encounter with Kim and Ox. I wonder if this happens in the anime? I hope so, but it seems unlikely now. Anyway-

I don’t like it when people ask the comments to stop discussing something and to take it somewhere else. It’s not spam. People are sharing their ideas and talking with one another. It’s the internet. Even if people have the same discussion on a character tons of times over and over again, if it’s in the comments, you can’t do anything about it unless if your an admin or a mod and it’s against the rules to discuss. Just because you and a few other people don’t like the discussion doesn’t mean people will stop talking about it just for you. Just let people discuss whatever they want about Soul Eater as long as it’s not spam.

Okay.. as many of you I was confused if Crona is a boy or a girl… but if you watch the subtitles, you can see Crona is mentioned with “he”, meaning Crona should be a boy
actually the writter of soul eater, Atsushi Okubo, doesnt even know if its a boy or a girl..in most subtitles it says “it” and it goes around fron “he”and “she”. however the new english dubbed soul eater episodes say that crona is a He. im taking the dubbed advice and saying that crona is a he..

Crona is a boy; Stein is awesome. Soul is alright, though he’s not by far the best character in the series. Medusa-sama is my absolute favorite character in the story, because she’s just so freakin evil and I love it. XD But you also have to love Crona cause he’s just so awesomely cute. He. Yes. He. Not she. He. Get over it.

For people wondering why Medusa apparently didn’t have any soul:
Remember the first time Medusa ‘got killed’? Well back then they said she even ‘dissolved her own soul’ reaching the conclusion that “she really is a witch”. Apparently she used some sort of spell or curse cast onto herself that made her soul vanish as soon as she died. Most witches would not be capable of performing such a spell / curse.
So there’s no hole in the plot because of this.

Ok ok, for god’s sake people let it go. I don’t particularly care what gender Crona is, but that is because I’ve learned to accept the truth. Throughout every episode I’ve watched, it says ‘he’ when referring to Crona, and Medusa refers to Crona as ‘son’, and the way Crona acts also supports this. I have not seen a single reference to Crona being female. Just throwin in my two cents.

You know what… I think the reason Medusa’s soul wasn’t left behind was because Maka destroyed the soul itself! After being ‘purged’ from Rachel’s body, Medusa doesn’t return to her original form. Instead, she’s kind of ‘shimmery’. With the Genie Hunter, Maka basically destroyed her Medusa’s evil soul… My theory. ^^
