Something BIG has to happen, a twist in the story, a memorable fight or something. We are due a good episode, there is no point watching a mediocre episode and saying it is good. omg, can not believe that black star had killed mifune,in the manga though he had brought out new weapons like black chain and stuff and i was dissapointed that i couldnt see it, what a blower, the producers are getting on my nerves. but i thought they should have concentrated on Black star more (b/c hes awesome!!!) and instead of showing the stupid robo battle between shinigami and mosquito. but i am kinda, kinda, happy that they are finally showing justin and the saw dude. When are they gonna show the 3 minor characters too? they are kinda interesting.

That was my reaction the whole time I was watching this. That, and I was hysterically laughing my ass off. It’s like BONES couldn’t think of anything good, so they used the giant robot idea. Well, there goes my hopes and dreams of the three main stars working together to kick Asura’s butt in one action packed battle.

The mecha thing MAY BE overused, but I suppose that was mostly for ‘humor’, and as strange as this may sound, ‘to appeal to a different type of anime fan’.

Just saying guys, I keep reading that people are like, “It’s not the same as the manga!”…. well you know what, sometimes anime is that way. That just encourages you to watch the anime and read the manga. Whatever you like better is your opinion. So, just saying from my own perspective, it’s kinda lame to complain about that. And stop saying BONES killed another anime, because I think it’s doing just fine. Anyways, sorry for ranting ^^;

FIRST!!! DEATH CITY IS MOBILE!!!

Huh? Is that it? That’s how they got Asura back?

This episode looks to have retained some of that comedy I’ve seen in earlier episodes but was this really the time for a odd and useless giant robot battle? Robots? Fighting? Near the end of the series where robots have had absolutely nothing to do with anything? I mean, could the Black Star – Mifune fight have ended so generically? Both charge at eachother, and one strike has some sort of delayed effect. How many times have we seen that?

The whole Black Star thing with Masamune looked totally boring so I skipped most of it. I had a feeling they’d go into some deep discussion, then Black Star wakes up and borrows his power or something like that, WAY too predictable, something I’d expect watching Naruto.

What’s not predictable is the story, I don’t know where it is heading now. It seems like the writers don’t really give a shit, so I wont either. This is the first episode I have watched without subs and I don’t feel the need to re-watch subbed for some reason. On a lighter note, the next episode does actually look good. Too bad its the NEXT one and not this one. I’ll go read the Manga now to see how different they actually made it

The fight was funny, I’ll give it that. But since the anime is near the end, you would expect it to be a bit more serious. At least, that’s what I expect. Not to mention that fight was kind of random.

I know Asura hasn’t done anything in the last couple of episodes except just laying around, but he can’t be that lazy to just let himself get eaten up. To think he would fight back or something.

I wonder if the anime is going to explain why Eibon put himself in a key. Maybe it was explained in this episode.

With the Kishin captured,I wonder what’s going to happen in the next couple of episodes.

On another note the series will probably be a bit more serious in the next few episodes. And a lot of animes don’t stick with the original manga storyline. Also, they’re probably working with the writer creating a new ending since the manga isn’t even finished yet.

Also, I won’t lie, the giant robot fight was hilarious!! Although I would be right with Maka and Soul in that expression. (seeing soul’s expression at the sight of the city would have been hilarious)

I loved the episode, and I can’t wait for the next one!!

Honestly though, I thought they were following the manga plot pretty closely too- but all of a sudden Death City becomes a giant robot which was completely out of nowhere. And are they really gonna finish this up in 4 episodes!

Shibusen’s robot is cool and all, but it seems out of balance. Since it was modeled from shinigami, I guess.

And, on the last part, Kid was like…

And of course, when Black Star was PWNDed by angela! XD She’s so freaking adorably scary. XD.

And, a much more priceless face- Arachne’s face when shinigami took the kishin and swallowed it.

And showing the characters that didn’t show up in this ep, and explaining why did have Shibusen and Arachn-whatever had a freaking giant robot.

I believe there will be a lot of questions that has no answers; Holes that can’t be filled.

Right, that is clearly not the end, I loved it, it was both epic and ridiculous and fun (which is what makes this series great) Asura will fight shinigami, and judging by the symbolism in opening and ending, shinigami will die, (broken face in mirror, half cut up skull statue, shibusen crumbling) and then the three main characters will engage in the final epic battle, arachne and mosquito will also do something, free and erukua will likely be forgotten, saw dude will be pwned by choir boy…those are my hopeful speculations…

It was like.. comic relief, but it was good. TOTALLY unexpected… I think they will add more serious stuff to it though, like, the opening theme and the ending theme? maybe?
Hopefully it will be more intense though… I kinda figured they wouldnt make it as great, the ending I mean, since it started declining a lot, you know, with the whole “OMFG CHRONA! MAKA IS DEPPRESSED ALL THE TIME!” stuff. I have a feeling the ending won’t be as epic. Ahaha. I still freaking love this series though. XD

See if the writers forgot about this, then later when Soul Eater is finished we can all be like…Hey guys nice anime you made there…so where’s Season 2 where we actualy get a f***ing death scythe? Then like 1 year later another series of Soul Eater comes out =D

But who knows they’ll probably make an OVA, which I hope so, it just seems cool to have a 50 Episode anime and 1 or 2 OVAs lol has a nice balance.

Let the record show that this is the weirdest ANYTHING of Soul Eater EVER.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought those things were Gundams. But seriously, HOW CAN ANYONE TAKE THIS EPISODE SERIOUSLY?!?!?! Really, listen to the sound effect when Shinigami flips Mosquito over!!! It’s a frickin’ cartoon sound effect! I know Soul Eater can be pretty goofy, but it’s also a serious anime! I see this episode as some major plot development, so how can I take it seriously when Death City turns into a friggin’ homemade Gundam?!?!

lol But, overall, that was pretty epic. It’s not everyday you see a city raise from its foundation and kick major ass. So go Soul Eater! XD
