Aw, Shinigami got more and more pissed off whenever he heard his son shout. And it was funny how frustrated Kid was getting.
Honestly though, I thought they were following the manga plot pretty closely too- but all of a sudden Death City becomes a giant robot which was completely out of nowhere. And are they really gonna finish this up in 4 episodes!

My week has been really rough, but seriously. That made my DAY! Especially what Shinigami-sama was getting mad and stuff.
I would like to see more Stein though. D;
All the same, it was epic.

2. Shinigami-sama has spider killing issues. I mean, he’s like an normal human being trying to kill an insect,and having no luck at it.

5. Black star’s fight- actually, the deer made no sense. What the hell? Of all the animals, why a deer? Or, basically, why an animal?

“WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?” – Everyone, when the robot appeared.
“And now the other??!” – Everyone again, when the spider robot appeared.
“But what is this?!?” – Kid
“Are they serious?!”
“It happened!!”

“Then I go..” -Shinigami-sama while scratching his head.

“Burning fire! Burning!!” – Shinigami. (No matter how you pronounce it, it makes no sense. lol.)

“Secret Weapon…. CHABUDAIGAESHI!!!” -Shinigami-sama
And then everyone was like.. what?

“I will not forgiveee you!!” – Shinigami-sama, then his hand pokes the inner part, and absorbs the kishin, then spits it out, then shibusen swallowed the kishin.
Then Kid was like..
“He swallowed the kishin!!” LAWL! Priceless! FTW!!
7. Randoooom Stuff.
Oh. And in the opening too. “So, Funimation, I heard you liek mudkips? XD”
Shibusen’s robot is cool and all, but it seems out of balance. Since it was modeled from shinigami, I guess.
And, on the last part, Kid was like…
“Wait wait wait wait WAIT! The public will not accept an ending like this?” XD.
And of course, when Black Star was PWNDed by angela! XD She’s so freaking adorably scary. XD.
And, a much more priceless face- Arachne’s face when shinigami took the kishin and swallowed it.
And, Kishin looks, normal. Bat Red eyes, taht iz.

Well, for the fact that they turned the story line oh-so-weird but funny and random at the same time, they left a lot of holes to be filled in.
Like, why the hell is Eibon the key to BREW, I mean, why his soul?
And intense MakaSoul and company fighting scenes,
And them defeating arachnophobia (if its right) and the kishin of course,
And showing the characters that didn’t show up in this ep, and explaining why did have Shibusen and Arachn-whatever had a freaking giant robot.
And alot more, actually.
But, if they did find a way to cram it into 3 episodes,
I believe there will be a lot of questions that has no answers; Holes that can’t be filled.

Right, that is clearly not the end, I loved it, it was both epic and ridiculous and fun (which is what makes this series great) Asura will fight shinigami, and judging by the symbolism in opening and ending, shinigami will die, (broken face in mirror, half cut up skull statue, shibusen crumbling) and then the three main characters will engage in the final epic battle, arachne and mosquito will also do something, free and erukua will likely be forgotten, saw dude will be pwned by choir boy…those are my hopeful speculations…

I agree to what you said. It may actually happen, judging from the OP and EN scenes. But, what about the other characters? And will Shinigami really die, or will Kid do something?
Well, he should at least do something. He’s Shinigami’s son for god’s sake.
And, maybe he’s the next Shinigami- or something like that.

I love this show, what the hell just happened? I love humor but I’m sorry, that was just stupid.
They might need to go on hiatus or something until the manga-ka catches up. Seriously. This would be funny if they weren’t up against the friggen head villian of the show, but right now, its not. What happened to the epicness from the manga?

Anyways, I liked it!
It was like.. comic relief, but it was good. TOTALLY unexpected… I think they will add more serious stuff to it though, like, the opening theme and the ending theme? maybe?
Hopefully it will be more intense though… I kinda figured they wouldnt make it as great, the ending I mean, since it started declining a lot, you know, with the whole “OMFG CHRONA! MAKA IS DEPPRESSED ALL THE TIME!” stuff. I have a feeling the ending won’t be as epic. Ahaha. I still freaking love this series though. XD

how can poeple talk smack about this anime it is simply the best thing to come out sense narto/bleach that actually has a decent amount of eps, with all the garbage gundam/hime/manlove anime out there i thank black star that somthing like this exists. soul eater rocks.

See if the writers forgot about this, then later when Soul Eater is finished we can all be like…Hey guys nice anime you made there…so where’s Season 2 where we actualy get a f***ing death scythe? Then like 1 year later another series of Soul Eater comes out =D
But who knows they’ll probably make an OVA, which I hope so, it just seems cool to have a 50 Episode anime and 1 or 2 OVAs lol has a nice balance.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought those things were Gundams. But seriously, HOW CAN ANYONE TAKE THIS EPISODE SERIOUSLY?!?!?! Really, listen to the sound effect when Shinigami flips Mosquito over!!! It’s a frickin’ cartoon sound effect! I know Soul Eater can be pretty goofy, but it’s also a serious anime! I see this episode as some major plot development, so how can I take it seriously when Death City turns into a friggin’ homemade Gundam?!?!
lol But, overall, that was pretty epic. It’s not everyday you see a city raise from its foundation and kick major ass. So go Soul Eater! XD
