I think “Soul Batlle” would sound better or something else, just my opinion!

I mean shinigami-sama’s been through some tough times before, we’ve seen him “injured” before (meaning there’s a hole in his black body basically) and I’m sure he can recover from that, and Arachne calling kishin was then just a plot device to prevent kishin from delivering the final blow … ksss well, I thought the ending was going a very wrong way 1 ep ago though and it seems to be getting a bit more interesting now, although not really mind blowing. I hope it gets subbed soon so I can understand the battle conversation xD

Jonashii, keep in mind that Maka’s special ability is unique only to her. I’m sure Shinigami had many more special abilities but we don’t really understand the true extent of that power. Won’t say anything else so I don’t spoil. Love the show though!

I can’t believe he died! Well at least to compensate that, we get an epic battle next episode(not that this episode didn’t have an epic battle).

Also the ending is one big spoiler when you ponder about it. It shows Asura standing on top of a broken shinigami mask, and spreading madness upon the earth. Shibuusen is laying in gravel/rocks because shinigami-sama was defeated, and now Shibuusen will probably be destroyed in the next few episodes. Mosquito and the chain saw guy are depressed due to Asura killing arachnophobia, and eating her soul.
Since Asura ate his weapon, does anyone else think he ate Aracho’s soul so it can become a death weapon?

If the Grim Reaper is dead then that is good, I mean someone important has got to die with all of this madness happening, but it still makes no sense. The Grim Reaper and Asura are Gods, so why are they talking about killing eachother, aren’t Gods immortal?
And the Grim Reaper is right, Asura is a coward, instead of just fighting directly he just went to kill the others standing near the mirror. It’s like he won by a cheap shot, and that is pretty unsettling. Not to mention the actual fight itself I know Reaper and Spirit wanted to fight, but all Asura did was talk about fear and imagination. I hate it when a fight gets ruined because someone wants to have a ‘deep’ conversation at the same time.
AND I never knew it would be that easy for Arachne to die. But he basically took her soul like it was nothing. Well I knew she sucked compared to Medusa, but to do nothing but order everyone around this whole arc and die in one blow must really make her suck.

Nothing says Arachne was bad at fighting, it’s just that Asura is so much stronger. Medusa had a spirit power equal to Stein, and Stein still only had a fraction of the strength that Shinigami had. Since Asura is supposed to have power equal to that of Shinigami, it makes sense he didn’t have to put any real effort into it.
Shinigami sucked in the Ashura’s blast with his hand… INUYASHA IS SO GOING TO SUE SOMEBODY.

Did Shinigami really died? But where’s his body?
During the earlier episode when Asura was revived, Shinigami was seen with a damaged mask with nothing inside. So it can’t be that that was Shinigami’s true body.
And the part where Shinigami and Asura expanded their soul wavelength is a little unconvincing. In the earlier episodes, Maka remarked that she could not “see” Shinigami’s Soul, and it was told that Shinigami’s Soul was tied to the Death City, hence the need to bring the whole city along for this fight.
And Asura was a right little cheater, attacking the bystanders (Kid & Azusa). Excalibur recovered so quickly from Asura’s attack, he could have helped out in the battle (if he wanted), since he raved about his own ability in his own book.
Well, I wasn’t surprised that Asura ate Arachne’s Soul, since he haven’t ate a witch Soul before. THAT GUY ATE HIS OWN WEAPON, what else can’t he do?
Next episode is going to be fun I guess. BUT WHY! Kid’s Sanzu lines have yet to complete! Not even a single line!! I supposed the Demon Tools in the secret vault couldn’t be touched anymore? Since BREW is fixed into it? Apparently Eibon locked up BREW again and removed the key after helping Shinigami to fulfill his dream.
If the demon tools in the secret vault could be used by Kid (especially BREW), then I guess he could become a true Shinigami himself.

The previous episode seemed to be made for the sake of injecting some laughter in it.
I think what we fail to see rather than blaming Ashura for attacking bystanders is why the hell does Shinigami have a kid in the FIRST place! Come on shouldn’t a God of Death be heartless and attacked Ashura rather than block? (It didn’t seem like he was trying too hard throughout the fight though did it?)

I think what I would like to see, is maybe after the battle with Asura, we see Shinigami come out of somewhere, without his mask and cloak. I have this whole thing that I wanna see what he looks like without his stuff.(Don’t really wanna get into the whole theory I have)
And also, how does everyone think they’re going to plan out the final three episodes. I think i’ll go like,
Episode 49: Maka, Kid, and Black Star meet up, and the rest of the episode is just them fighting, maybe some backstory
Episode 50: Rest of the episode is just the finishing of the battle, most likely Maka and Soul using Kinshin hunter to kill Asura is weakened by like a really strong move from both Kid and Black Star
Episode 51: Maybe like a one year later thing, on the anniversary of the death of the Kinshin. The episode could just be like what everyone is doing, the state of the Death City and the world, and maybe even Soul becoming a Death Scythe.

He–he was the best character in the whole damned series and everything about him was so ridiculously epic and epically ridiculous and he– GGGHH.
Everyone else gets utter bullshit Deus ex Machina saves, and the world’s biggest badass gets killed in a short little fight by an attack we saw him brush off not five minutes before. It all seems like a hasty afterthought.

It just depends on how much imagination power you have.
Asura, I think, has a negative Aura, a sort of Black Hole, if you will… he has stopped imagining completely, kind of like the Apocalyptic Horsemen (War, Famine, Pollution, and Death). It takes apathy to a whole new level, because what makes humans “humans” is imagination, creativity, and innovation.

Asura was pretty weird in the battle. Just having him blabber away while he’s dodging, getting thrown/punched and attacking just seems weird to me.
Well, at least Arachne got pwned. I didn’t like her. She didn’t really fight or do any epic stuff since she made everybody else do the dirty work. I liked Medusa more because she was crueler and she was actually a good fighter. YOU NEVER SEE ARACHNE FIGHT, AFKSDJFHMDSF. I despised her fight in the manga because I felt that it was waaaay too short.

-Excalibur calling the Kishin ”Baka” twice. So funny (imo).
-Shinigami-sama dying..? No wai.
-Death the Kid going for revenge? Hope so. I lurves him for a reason. *-*
-Arachne dying so fu*kingly epically stupid? …Yeah, sounds like a fitting end.
-Maka and Soul get yur asses moving into the action.

Also.. Who else thinks that if Kid-kun hadn't screamed out to Shinigami-sama that one time, the Kishin wouldn't have noticed him.. Thus, not having hit Ss with that blow..? Did.. Did I explain myself ok? o.o'

DAM, it was soo funny when SHinigama just grabs the Kishin with the GIant robot glove, and Excalibur shooulda helped,OR why doesnt Shinigame use Excalibur? Im sure excalibur wont make Shinigama do all annoying 1000 task since he is shinigames friend and all. But yeha, its dissapointing for SHinigama to loose.

how come the videos get cut off only a few minutes after it’s started. It plays for like 3 or less minutes then nothing, it stops… what’s the reason? It has happened with the past 2o episodes, but i could see those elsewhere, but these next 3 episodes are only here, DAMN IT!!! so… how do i watch them without the thing stopping? or am i doomed?
also… i think this is not happening to everyone, because i can read some people commenting on it, meaning they’ve watched it, so, again… what the eff???

I don’t think Ashura was afraid of Arachne in that way. I believe he was afraid of becoming attatched to anyone–in the way Shinigami-sama was–and having to protect them with his life.
Idk, I could be wrong (he’s just that hard to understand) but that’s what I personally got from the episode x)

And I read somewhere *RUMOR SPOILER ALERT THINGIE* that there’s a possibility that Asura may be Kid’s real father and that Shinigami-sama just adopted him. I mean, I don’t know if anybody else noticed this, but when Kid yelled “Honorable father!” Asura turned and looked at him. Idk maybe I’m just looking into this too deeply.
And is it just me, or does Asura kind of have that whole Gaara-vibe going for him?
