Heh, personally, I think Kiddo is just a piece of the original Shinigami-sama, personally. =/ Doubt that screwed up boy even HAS a mama. Shinigami had really bad stomach cramps one day… X__x

when they were death and the kishin were fighting did anyone else hear lion king music,……….. and souls vioce sounds a lot like ichigo and blackstar sounds like naruto does anyone agree with me?
What I’d like to know is why did Shinigami just jump infront of the beam. I mean we didn’t really see him block it with that shield power of his. I understand he didn’t have that much time, but still.
I think what I would like to see, is maybe after the battle with Asura, we see Shinigami come out of somewhere, without his mask and cloak. I have this whole thing that I wanna see what he looks like without his stuff.(Don’t really wanna get into the whole theory I have)
And also, how does everyone think they’re going to plan out the final three episodes. I think i’ll go like,
Episode 49: Maka, Kid, and Black Star meet up, and the rest of the episode is just them fighting, maybe some backstory
Episode 50: Rest of the episode is just the finishing of the battle, most likely Maka and Soul using Kinshin hunter to kill Asura is weakened by like a really strong move from both Kid and Black Star
Episode 51: Maybe like a one year later thing, on the anniversary of the death of the Kinshin. The episode could just be like what everyone is doing, the state of the Death City and the world, and maybe even Soul becoming a Death Scythe.
And I have written way to much. Sorry bout that, just love this series so much.

truly a great episode,ashuras such a bish, even before i saw this episode i had a feelin ashura would win,loved the soul resonance, poor shinigami, the only thing is how is maka, black star, and kid supposed beat someone shinigami couldnt? im mean if you look at the fight it truly looks like a fight between goods with all the explosion and other stuff? cant wait for the next one

He–he was the best character in the whole damned series and everything about him was so ridiculously epic and epically ridiculous and he– GGGHH.
Everyone else gets utter bullshit Deus ex Machina saves, and the world’s biggest badass gets killed in a short little fight by an attack we saw him brush off not five minutes before. It all seems like a hasty afterthought.
And unless something very epic and Disney-Deathian happens, I am going to… be really, really in need of hugs.

What the Kishin said about not imagining things, it reminded me of my book “Good Omens”, and what is said people’s auras looked like.
“Meanminded people have an aura close to their body”
“expansive, creative people have one several inches off their body”
Then later, you meet Adam, whose aura she can’t see, but later realizes that “it’s the same thing as not being able to see England from London [his aura was so large]”
It just depends on how much imagination power you have.
Asura, I think, has a negative Aura, a sort of Black Hole, if you will… he has stopped imagining completely, kind of like the Apocalyptic Horsemen (War, Famine, Pollution, and Death). It takes apathy to a whole new level, because what makes humans “humans” is imagination, creativity, and innovation.

Asura was pretty weird in the battle. Just having him blabber away while he’s dodging, getting thrown/punched and attacking just seems weird to me.
Well, at least Arachne got pwned. I didn’t like her. She didn’t really fight or do any epic stuff since she made everybody else do the dirty work. I liked Medusa more because she was crueler and she was actually a good fighter. YOU NEVER SEE ARACHNE FIGHT, AFKSDJFHMDSF. I despised her fight in the manga because I felt that it was waaaay too short.

I’m freaking ecstatic that Arachne died. I hate spiders so much. But I was surprised Shinigami fell so easily. And I wanted the battle to be a bit more epic(Asura talked ALOT). Still a good episode. Getting to the end. Then I’ll go read the manga.

I don’t think Ashura was afraid of Arachne in that way. I believe he was afraid of becoming attatched to anyone–in the way Shinigami-sama was–and having to protect them with his life.
Idk, I could be wrong (he’s just that hard to understand) but that’s what I personally got from the episode x)

And I read somewhere *RUMOR SPOILER ALERT THINGIE* that there’s a possibility that Asura may be Kid’s real father and that Shinigami-sama just adopted him. I mean, I don’t know if anybody else noticed this, but when Kid yelled “Honorable father!” Asura turned and looked at him. Idk maybe I’m just looking into this too deeply.
And is it just me, or does Asura kind of have that whole Gaara-vibe going for him?
