I wish I knew more Japanese. I could understand some of it– mostly where Maka’s all “You aren’t Soul”– but I can’t tell if they were saved by THA POWAR OF LUVVVV or if they just have a really strong connection as partners. .__.
And, um… did anyone else find the whole “Woo Black Star can totally kill Ashura now” thing unbelievable? :/
It’s like, they spent forever trying to damage him at least a bit, and he yawns. Then all of a sudden Kid gets stabbed through the chest and Black Star can wail on him so badly that he reverts to normal Ashura? What?
(….And whatever happened to Rachel? The last time we saw her was her and Chrona being tended to. It never shows her waking up or returning to her parents, but she’s not with them when they return… o___O)

That was intense. Kinda lame how they just had all of Kid’s sanzu lines go at once. Big difference from the manga. Still cool though, and Black Star kicked ass. WOOT one more episode left!

You know, I’ve watched the entire anime on this site and I’ve been debating for a while whether or not to comment, I thought, “Can I trust this site??” and in the end, I gave in, anyway xD
This episode was so awesome! Kid was so cool with Liz & Patty, though for a moment there I was sort of laughing at Black Star and his “Naruto movez”
And it was good to see some more SoulXMaka action, though I don’t think we’re going to see them kiss =/ Such a shame. But yeah, it was so cute when Maka saved him ^_^
I hope Shinigami lives =/ He has awesome Shinigami-chop skills that would be missed =[
Also, does anyone else think that Death the Kid should get more awesome fight scenes like this one, or am I just a fangirl?? O__O

I here they are going to dub Soul Eater. But don’t worry, the dubbing will be done by Funimation, same people who did Fullmetal Alchimist, and that was one of the best dubs ever done in the history of anime.

I found this episode funny, even at the non-funny parts, like Kid’s epic build up then a split second later he gets stabbed in the heart, Stein returning and acting as if he had never even went nuts for most of the series, Soul swallowing the Small Demon (disgusting), Maka being butt-naked for absolutely no reason. I think the end of that emotional moment at least deserved one kiss. It’s been 50 episodes and still nothing
AND I guess the Sanzu lines connecting didn’t live up to it’s hype, because all it dd was unleash an ultimate version of Asura. One that can only be killed by the Anti-demon wavelength. Now THAT was a good episode

Its kinda weird that Patty and Liz did not shout when Kid got stabbed but only when he fell to the ground after he shot the kishin unconsciously o.o
And why did only Black Star shout when kid was stabbed then he could injure the kishin when they could’nt before?! O_O||
When Maka and Soul came back, why was Patty and Liz on the ground/rocks, kid was unconscious so he could’nt fight the kishin right?!

well, they probably didnt say anything because they were so shocked that that could happen. they were all unconcious/dead because of Asura’s uber power. And he didn’t go back to the previous version of himself, his face is different and eyes are also different. So this means he is now even stronger than before, so maka and soul will be the ones to surpass a god, instead of blackstar…

is it just me or does this anime lack so much explanation? It’s good but potentially so much better…for example why does the black blood consume someone into madness?
There was 4 demons that i saw…Eibon, Ashura, Shinigami and the other is unnamed..what is Eibon’s importance? What is his relationship with Shinigami?
Also when they were fighting Mosquito they reduced him to nothing more than a mere head and yet he regenerates himself?
This anime has amazing character development, but so many holes in it’s plot they could fix.

I think they explained all that stuff. Maybe you just weren’t really paying attention. go back and watch the episode where they unlock brew and you find out eibon and shinigamis relationship… Go back and watch the episode where they go into the magnetic field and you’ll see that they say, when mosquito was attacked he shrunk back to his normal size before the hit to dodge.
A bit of disappointment towards the ending is floating around in my thoughts.
Too abrupt, too happy-go-lucky.
And I’m surprised they let everyone live. Usually at least one extremely loved character is killed off.
Though I was very attached to Medusa she was clearly wasn’t going to be around forever due to the fact that she wasn’t a “good guy.”
It was cheap how Ashura lost his cool so quickly when Maka was all of a sudden BOOM courageous. Though her parents were a weapon and a miester the fact the Maka was a weapon randomly AND UNCONSCIOUS seemed to be just thrown in there to make her seem more special.
…All in all I was expecting it to go out with more of a bang then it did. How sad. =/
