i dont agree because when shows go for to long they F up!!! bleach and naruto are just sooo freakay that their still around and good, but when i think about soul eaters so AWESOME that it could make it…. because its AWESOME WOOOO

Dont compare Soul Eater to those two steaming piles of suck that is Naruto and Bleach. I do realise it all boils down to a manner of opinion but….

They have both devolved into horrible shows as time has passed. anyone who doesnt at least think that they havent lost at least a bit of quality as time has gone on is more blind than a bat with it’s eyes plucked out. I, for one, am glad in a way that they didnt extend it any longer, but also wish I could have seen more.
a part of my perspective on the two shows: Bleach has a contrived narrative and generic characters (OMG GUYS BYAKUYA IS SO COOL XD), Naruto has an unfocused plot etc etc etc. the list goes on. Any freshness that they both had is long gone.
Soul Eater’s ending, granted, could have been done better, but I felt it was a end that resolved the show in a satisfying manner. like “that’s all folks”. and I loved this series, planning to finally start the manga.
However, shows that are long as hell as rare indeed. But there are some, like say Yuyu Hakusho and One Piece (this one unquestionably). I apologise if I may come across as offensive. as I said, it all boils down to a manner of opinion, and this is mine.

i just wish i followed the manga, its better than the anime. im not saying the anime its awesome i think ive seen i four times but nothing beats the manga. they should do like FMA and make another season that follows the manga.

Classic horrid ending of an anime that ran out of funding. There will nver be a 2nd season because they strayed too far from the story, however there may be an OVA that will come out some day like with FMA. Honestly when this was coming out i stopped watching it around episode 40 or so (when it started to really stray from the manga) The story isn’t nearly over yet, so if you want more, read the manga!

I dont see why people see this ending bad, it is perfect. If you don’t understand it, rewatch the anime and read between the lines, it all makes sense. It is beautiful, and the best anime i have ever seen. As i post this, 4th time i’ve watched the series.
On another note… Part 1; The Soundtrack that begins at 06:25, and ends at 8:33, what is that one? I have been searching alot, but cannot find it. anyone knows?

I don’t even care if Maka is a weapon or Soul becomes a death scythe. I want to see more Black Star in his efforts surpassing the Gods. That alone would make an awesome spin off.
I will be checking the manga for the story and hopefully to find more closure to loose ends. That said I think it’s definitely one of the coolest anime series but I agree that the ending is not as epic as other series. Fingers crossed for a new season or movie.

I hate how they changed the subtitles, once again for the time i’ve watched this, they keep changing it over and over and over again, Not to mention they changed the ending that showed when everyone had something to do after words. Shinigami planting the kishin eggs, Spirit and Stein smoking together, The samurai guy with the little witch on the stairs of Shibusen, The Medusa gang on a sunny hill, with that Arrow patterned snake wrapped around a tree…whoever remembers please tell me you remember that too.

Why does everybody hate this ending!? This ending is perfect! For those of you that don’t understand it, its because everbody has courage execpt the Kishin. The Kishin compared it to madness as it flowed through his body. The courage punch is like the sword slash on Soul in episode 7. It infected Soul with black blood. The punch infected Asura with courage! That killed him because his body it not used to courage, so thats how this was an awsome ending!
Well for some people it is that but…there was no kiss between soul and maka..fans crave romance, thats all I can say ^-^;

The anime ended, but for some reason, the manga is going on
Great ending made perfect sense. The best way to triumph over fear, is to show courage or bravery. The entity was fear and what maka did was triumph over it by showing nothing more than pure courage. It nostalgic because we all struggle, through fear in our everyday life, so in reality it reminds us to be mindful, to note however, the only way to overcome fear is by showing courage. Any can relate to this wonderful anime. Eloquently crafted!
wat the eff, the was stupid, i read the manga and that was just effed up, a punch of courage are you joking,if they do that in the manga i am going to find the producer and beat him up, And wat about maka being a weapon, way to totally deviate from the basics, but the fighting was cool up to where they lost,

The ending makes sense, and is clever in it’s own way. I get the feeling the people who don’t like the ending are the type of people who just want to see OMGSUPERCOOL MOVES instead of any type of story.

i'm perfectly content with the ending. it left me with a good feeling…But i definitely wouldn't mind more episodes…as long as they remain high quality material and don't ruin this perfect anime series…I do wonder why they strayed from the whole Collect 99 souls and then 1 witch soul to become a death scythe though. Seeing Soul become one would be sweet. But hey. I LOVE SOUL EATER

Why bother asking to continue this stupid anime? The first time I watched the first ep I already have the feeling that this anime will suck bigtime, and lol it did! And don’t even compare this kiddy anime to naruto and bleach oh well bleach sucks too just look at its story line now it’s all messed up because of the stupid writing of kubo. The reason why you’re comparing soul eater to naruto is because you no-brainers just can’t understood the plot of Naruto which I think is targeted for the mature audiences, obviously you’re not that kind of audience just because you didn’t appreciate it instead you settle watching this goddamnmotherfucking anime. Watching naruto now is like watching a movie full of twists, while watching soul shitty feels like watching a no-brainer kids show like Barney lol. Get lost u loser!!!

Believe me, this ending was thrown together pretty quickly. Seeing only 4/8 Death Scythes, Justin and Giriko still having it out, 2/3 of the Gorgon witch sisters being revealed, Medusa shown to be alive in the end credits, etc., you can safely assume that this series is a lot more complex than the anime suggests.
Read the manga from Medusa’s arrival at the DWMA, and you’ll notice some new twists start to take place. Extra points for reading through it, buying every single edition that’s been released, THEN complaining that it sucks :]
actually this was a whole lot more bloodier than Naruto and you thought it sucked but watched the whole thing. Then you decide to complain at the end, I know this is probably for attention but whatever, ill reply anyways though it’ll never be read. Naruto has no story-line anymore its just finding Sasuke and fighting a random rag-tag group of ninjas and lose due to Naruto being way overpowered. The only thing more mature about Naruto than this is perhaps the amount they cuss which actually shows the anime has no respect for its dialogue because it has to resort to such vulgar language (sorry big word). Oh and by the way Goddamn and motherfucking are all seperate words and “u” is not a word.

Good anime, I’ve been watching so many episodes as it got closer towards the ending. Too bad it’s over but the best animes in my opinion don’t just go on and on, it has to end or it would become a nuisance.

reading the manga isnt that great like watching the show but there is so much more crap like justin is bad, there is another bad guy, medusa takes over aracknes body and then has spider snake witch powers, then does that black bllod thing with crona and because she is a spider witch to crona was givin 6 black bllod arms to hold like 4 swords. also they go way more into death and his little group of elite people like eibon and asura. so its way more interesting but its just not as fun for me like watching the show. oh and in the show they skipped so much crap it not even funny, like soul was supposed to become a death scythe. lol
why is everyone saying its only 50 episodes its 51!!!!
