i lov the manga just as much as the anime but its taking a long time! Yesterday i reached the last chapter they have posted so far, but in this justin law gives into madness and kills some guy by severing his head who was wearing a fake bear head, and chrona has forgotten maka, but so far the manga is better because maka turns soul into a death sythe by killing arachne but they got to quicken their pace. they’re still doing the manga so there is a chance that they will make a soul eater season 2 anime. Have faith! but some say it will be released in 2012, but they better hurry up! Soul eater is my life, if I could actually go in that world i swear i would be the happiest girl in the world.
Too bad they didn’t continue with this show, was really good. I also don’t like that we never meet Maka’s mother at all and Soul never becomes a death scythe.

A really wanted Soulto be swallowed up by the black blood… It would of started a whole new sage. I like those overly-dramatic momments when it looks like Soul or Maka died. But I really don’t care about Black Star or Tsubaki or Liz or Patty. But I do like Death The Kid. But It’s not as cool as Soul or Maka dying.. If only they could, ‘ya know, poison soul with some madness-thing and Shibusen force him to leave because if Maka used him she die.. And then Soul leaves Shibusen and into the dessert and finds the Witch Hide-out place and joins them.. And then they attack together because before Soul left he was told that Maka died and he wanted revenge because they couldn’t save her. But she was actually alive and she was told that Soul died. Then they get reunited and they kill the witches andSoul becomes a Death Scythe

u know in the anime they should maka an episode when it looks like maka fell to her death or something but in like 2 or 3 episodes later they find her but maka has amnesia
I love it. Hopefully the story continues with new battles, older characters, new cities, etc.! I’m so happy Maka was the key…she is awesome, ya know!!! For a minute I thought it would be Black Star and Death the Kid who defeated the Kishin but Maka was a surprise but a good one. MAKA ROCKS!! AND ALL BECAUSE OF COURAGE/BRAVERY! This was quite the enjoyable anime. NowI need a sight dedicated to Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan cause it’s gettin craaazyyY! Anyone who likes the Edo period should check it out; it has good info and an entertaining plot. Can’t wait for Season 2 to be subbed. heart heart heart. think i’ll pick up reading the Soul Eater Manga now.

What the fuck…really? Thats how it ends? You have GOT to be fucking me. They must of changed directors mid way or SOMETHING because that was absolute BULL SHIT. Dont get me wrong, that was an epic show, but that ending was crap. The kinshin or w/e was suposed to be completely mad, crazy, INSANE. But no, he was all human and idiotic at the end. Brilliant show, unexpected and supposedly human ending (instead of “love conquered all”, “courage conquers all”), but horribly moralistic and preachy nonetheless. Really didn’t care for it.
Plus, couldn’t they have killed any of the characters? Crona was so completely near death, Shinigami sama was also pretty much destroyed, and yet they keep coming back. This show is somewhere between Pokemon and Gantz: quite dark, but nobody dies (except the bad guys). To balance the “happy ending” out, I think after this I will watch Hellsing

In an extremely sad way, I’ve never been this disappointed by an ending. Courage? Wtf, that’s sad, i wanted to see black start transcend the gods or something. Or at least kid, but no way, it has to be Maka, the one character who annoyed me throughout the whole show.
Actually, i forgot to mention something. There’s one thing i hated throughout the whole show: Nothing bad ever happened to the characters, yeah they were hurt a little. Come on, at least Death could’ve vanished and kid could’ve become the new death. But no way.. everything has to remain the same throughout the whole show, with only bad characters vanishing. Every time one of the “good” one’s seemingly died, they magically got well, because getting a sword through you is not that bad at all.. (the only one annoying me more than maka, her fuck-friend i don’t remember the name off now)

If they were to make a season two, it’d be IMPOSSIBLE for them to start off with what happened in the manga they’d have to make a completely new story line and everything because they are some drastic differences with what happens in this crap and what happens in the manga

So I finally watched all the SE episodes. I started watching this because a One Piece fan said it was pretty good. (One Piece is my favorite anime so far, together with animes like Berserk, Elfen Lied, Monster, …)
The first episode I saw, I got stunned by the graphical style. I really loved the cartoony, glossy looks about it. After some episodes I was kind of neutral about SE. It wasn’t a bad anime at all, but the story never got me hooked. I think they tried too hard swapping funny moments with moments of actions. So every time you were drawn into an action scene it got cut off by some comedy & vice versa.
But after Kishin Asura escaped, things got interesting & the story got better & better. It wasn’t the great final I had hoped for, but all in all I really enjoyed the anime.
BlackStar was my favorite by far. I loved his fighting skill & they way he kept pushing himself. Kirikou Rung was awesome as well, too bad he didn’t appear in that many episodes. Excaliber was hilarious.
A very good anime I wouldn’t mind to see continued. As some said there’s a lot material that still needs to be covered, like Maka’s mother, the 3 main characters that get to become Death Scythes etc
Not the best anime I’ve seen, but still in my top 10 or so.
Btw: thanks for the extremely good quality vids. They really were a treat for the eye !

I loved dis episode but i didnt get a sence of closure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The action was great yet unexpected and it kinda reminded me of fullmetal alchemist a lil bit. Dey need 2 makea season 2 or im gonna be mad!!!! This anime has the potential to be one of the greatest animes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this was a really good ending for the show considering that they had to change the ending around episode 35. but it was really well done for being changed at the last minute. Nice job directors!!! and the 2nd season yall are talkin about isnt a new season they are just re-broadcastin it. To grab more fans of the show to make a second season so everyone needs to keep watching. The more fans the better the chances of a second season of Soul Eater!! one of the best animes ive seen in a long time. BLACK STAR IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He should of owned the kishin but oh well maka doing it is just fine. Shes my second favorite character. Ive also seen this show 5 times already and might go for a 6th

if you guys go on youtube.com and search ‘soul eater episode’ then the first thing that comes up will be the link to funimation’s channel, but if you look under the heading it will say episodes: 99 !!! In my opion that means second season. when me and my friend saw this we were like when that reaches 102 (meaning they’ve added 51 more episodes) they are going to release season 2!!
There are already 101 episodes!! If it’s true what you say, then there’s just 1 more Episode ahead and we’ll be able to watch season 2!!

seriously whats with all u guys getting pissed off about maka defeating the kishin with courage. if you were the producers what would u have said on how maka defeated the kishin. She peirces soul blade into his heart? nothing like that is going to work. asura doesn’t fear pain so something like that wouldn’t work. he has no feelings so he wouldn’t understand what friendship or anything fluffly like that means so its like the inasnity inside of him turned on himself if u know what i mean.

Stupid ending, this series was so good , up until the very second part of the last episode, sudenly maka is the almighty warrior, my ass, she doesn’t train at all, this ending is outrageous, i hope the manga is better, gonna start reading it.

I stared at my screen in tears for almost 20 minutes after this was done. Tears of joy and happiness… Now all thats left is to continue the manga but hopefully the rumors are true that Bones will release a new series in 2012

i love soul eater and i dont want soul eater to end …. i watched it to the very end …….. ;’( i want to know wat happends next ! I could go to there country and get them to draw it so we can watch the anime once again

It sucks that the show had to end… i was really enjoying it and they should ressurect asura and make him the head of a kishin army and ebon makes a tool that can see into the future and death see’s what happens and he tries to stop it but he gets killed! then kid takes his place as death and gets all powerful….. but this could never be CUZ THEY CAN BEAT THE FREAKIN KISHIN WIT BRAVERY!

Also the ending was okay, it was meaningful saying that you don’t always need strength just to beat someone…if you know what I mean. There seriously needs to be something extra in the next season..(if there is a next season anyway..idk) For example, there could be romance or something or maybe new characters..some cool new weapon styles..like soul could be learn how to do different forms, the same goes for all the other weapons.
It would look awesome if they had new outfits too. That’s just my opinion though..I seriously hope there is another good season because I want to see what Maka’s mom looks like. Also is there any suggestions for manga that I could read? The kind of mangas I like to read are shoujo, romance, and optionally action too..I don’t really like really smutty, yaoi or yuri. Soul Eater is my favorite action anime so far…nothing else!!

this isn’t the last episode. they’ve come out with a new manga called “soul eater not!” it’s based on a new student to the school and the time takes place when maka is a senior
That’s not how it works. Soul eater Not! Is a manga that begins when Maka was still not in Spartoi. It’s like an alternative universe because it didn’t really happen. Soul Eater and Soul eater Not! are two quite different mangas even though they have almost the same characters and the same mangaka.
So this is the Anime’s last episode. No arguing with that but Bones has made a Soul Eater repeat show. It’s aired in Japan and I don’t think you can watch it from internet, neither do I know if it just repeats this filler story line or follows the manga.

On a side-note…why was Maka a weapon for like, a minute? Did I miss something? Or was it just some big-lipped alligator moment?
She had let go of her consciousness and since she’s descended from a Death Scythe and a super awesome semi-magical Meister that since she let go of her consciousness she had accessed her other heritage and became a weapon for like a minute. If they are making another season they really need to get into that more.
I know the ending was supposed to be all moralistic and stuff but still… I at least think if they are going to make it about morals then Crona should have handled it and not Maka.

i dont know why everyone is mad about the ending, if you ask me it was an AWESOME ending. i mean how boring would it have been if all she did was stab him and he died? and the kishin doesn’t understand things like bravery, courage, and crap like that. i think it was really interesting that she beat him with a fist full of courage.
but what did bug me though was that Death the Kid got NO credit for totally blasting the shit outta the Kishin, everyones all like “eh” and then Maka punches him and the face and everyone treats her like shes god? sorry just kinda bugged me (also cuz Kid is my favorite character~)

Well anyway….I hope manga doesn’t end like this. Actually MY only hope of getting over this heartbroken soul of mine is this: No one really surpassed Asura but he self destructed because he didn’t understand courage that Maka had.
And why the HELL were Kid, black star and their partners not in hospital condition? They took beating (and fair one at that) and almost died and then they suddenly start speaking in the middle of the battlefield and after it’s over they run around. Soul should’ve been half dead too. Not in a state to speak at least.
They must’ve ran out of budjet because the art became ugly too. At some points it didn’t even look like soul eater -_-*
All in all, I’m quite disappointed. Let’s hope that some others find this ending even worth watching.

The way i see it this doesn’t have to be the end of the series there is a possibility of continuing on. Lord death had another 6 guardians other than Asura and Eiben.They never reveled who they were, so why can’t they continue the series focusing on them?

soul eater definitely the best anime ive ever seen…but the ending is so lame!!! and cheesy!…wtf its like in the last episode they turned it into a kids show
It was an okay ending I mean… I know morals are supposedly good or something but still… Where’s the credit for the others? I mean they did most of the real fighting, plus they were half-dead and hello… they sort of protected their bodies while they were AWOL in Soul’s head so where’s that credit now? If anything, if they wanted it to be about morals, Crona should have done it because really he (she)’s the most screwed up character right after the Kishin. I thought Maka accessing her weapon heritae was awesome but there was a lot to be desired.
I mean what kind of anime doesn’t have romantic pairings in the main characters? If there is a second seasont hey really need to pair up some people. I don’t care if Maka ends up with some minor character or Soul or Crona… plus Tsubaki and Black Star should get together. And I’m pretty sure something is going on with Kid and the sisters. I mean some of these characters should seriously hook up. We need to meet Maka’s mom, dissect Blair a little more, but the only good ending out of this season of anime was Excalibur’s part.
Oh yeah and Medusa’s snakes need to go away.

This was the best show ever im crying. I liked it alot. Can the creator find it in his heart to make more seasons.

I didn’t like the ending at all, it seemed like a gag, with Asura getting really scared, Soul eating the little demon, and Maka’s punch. :/ It seemed unfinished.

omg i only watched episode 1, the fight between maka and crona, and these two. But i fell in love with it! OMG! i love this already. I hope they make a new one in 2012. And add more crona!!! I love him!

Sure… Maka’s annoying, but she’s my favourite character all right. There’s just something about her, like they said. Like Crona said *points to chest* And Crona is just soooo kaaaawaaaiiiiiii~! *w*

The ending is totally incoherent and doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. Fuck those last two episodes.
