Y’all will hate me for this, but I wanted Crona to stay impaled and dead. It always seemed to me like he was hitting on Maka so, while you guys were going O.o over him getting impaled I was like “YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” and was secretly hoping that Stein would dissect him. And then he got better and ruined my fun
Ikr? Why couldn’t he just die? Ruined everything! They had the moment perfectly but then Stein was like “I can still save him” and I just thought ‘Are you fucking kidding me? -.-’
I totally agree with you, it would have made the series even better if crona was dissected by Stein

Hate when people are rushing an end to quick, the end was to quick with maka. All the power she gained from courage was lame, well well… Guess Onepiece is the only series that will have the most epic end so far

so disappointing.. seriously Kishin was beaten by a punch??? and wtf Death was beaten by just an attack from Kishin? ok it was powerful but it took only 1 to beat the strongest god of the world while Kishin was getting hit by Death so many times and still not even close to defeat.. VERY bad ending.. this anime had much more potential
Hmm, great anime, but the ending sucked pretty badly. Could’ve at least continued the anime. How the hell can Maka win just by using ‘courage’? Seriously? What was all the Genie Hunter for then? And the Kishin Hunter? Pretty sudden. The ‘Kishin’ Hunter wasn’t even able to injure a Kishin such as Asura, but a shitty punch somehow cracked his face open and made him explode. What the hell man? This better continue with more information about the 8 guardians too!

Think about it, if either Kid or Black Star had defeated the Kishin then it defeats the whole sub plot of having the little demon in Soul’s head in the first place.
If Lord Death killed him then that renders ALL of the other characters pointless… Seriously you fucking morons…
The whole thing about the “Courage Punch” is that anyone can do it, it’s inside all of us and it doesn’t take some super special technique to kill the madness. It’s not about killing Asura it’s about killing the madness in your heart, because without the madness there will be no more Kishins. Now do you get it?

51 episodes…. i wish theyd at leest make 100++ episodes. what happend? did half the crew leave? also why didnt they use all the charecters?? not a singel of them even advanced as a weapon… it kindof was theyr main target from the start. the worst part would be the fact that death got beaten and then Maka, Black Star and Kid became lolishly more powerfull than him. id accept if Death got trapped and therfor the Asura got weakened due to the maintain of the spell. but he even got a HEAVY powerupp… last but not leest if he is pure madness, how can he get confused?? isnt insanity zero logic and zero will?
I think that was a great ending the only thing that bothers me is the fact that they ended it so quickly they could have at least told us a little bit about what happened to the characters after the fact like who got married , how long did they live, and at what age did kid take up his fathers priorities, so i just wish that they will make another series the way the did with Avatar:The Last Airbender did with The Legend Of Korra except for the fact that evryone died before we could see what they looked like as adults. -.-
I just got done on a two day streak and watched the whole series it was great but, what’s up with maka’s momma? Will soul ever become a death scythe? Does maka know she is part weapon? And I would like to know more, i think they should defidently make more episode and make a bigger plot and take out that annoying Excalibur he was so f,n annoying I almost threw my sisters kindle when I saw him five times doing the same thing over and over again. But I still think they should continue the series, it has my attention and that’s not easy to get!
Its kinda interesting, this is the second time I’ve watched this ending, with a gap from a while ago, when all the Ops and EDs werent liscensed yet. *srs tht bothers me* But both times i feel the same thing.
If Maka just beat the Kishin with courage, isnt she basically another Kishin, just “courageous” instead of “mad”? The ending was actually pretty not so ohkay just for that. i loved everything else though. its always confusing with Maka cuz they made a really huge exception in terms of power.
That would make Maka anti-Kishin, because she would be an exact opposite of what Kishin represents. And to other people, Kishin was mad yet logical, he forgot how to feel pain which rendered him immortal, yet when Maka got to him he lost his logiclessness by being struck right here *thumps own heart*. And I don’t mean physically, I mean psychologically.
I want more Soul Eater!

well the manga is still ongoing so it’s actually possible that they bring the anime back up.

What a shit ending to a great anime….
How the Hell, are they gonna end it like that, your telling me that Death almost gets fcking incenerated by one of Kishins Blasts, but Soul can take a direct shot without so much as his jacket getting ripped. If Soul Had died the ending would have been much better, oh and throw that Maka Bullshiz out, Soul shouldve been the one to beat Kashin and Died doing it.

it doesn’t make sense why the manga’s name is Soul Eater when Maka defeats the kishin.
