i got tired of reading comments…so…im gonna comment on like the first 100 people’s comments.
ppl should get their facts straight if their gonna talk about an anime. Anime versions are usually completely different from the manga series. This goes mostly with mainstream stuff. Underground and legit japanese anime like Hellsing usually get everything right up to 6 – 20 episodes. A
Anyway, there are only 2 seasons of Soul Eater and the guys at the studio wouldn’t be able to continue with the story since they have no material from the manga to work with. That is how most animes work. I know this because a couple friends of mine have fathers who work for square enux and other studios. They base off the storyline which is usually the manga and usually change around the plot in order to make it more interesting. Interesting as in different I should say so that it creates a new concept of how the story could go.
If you read the manga for those people who don’t seem to understand why there were many things left undone. The manga has reached a certain point.
This will be a SPOILER for those who have not read the manga.
Soul has become a death scythe….yea. i actually found this out way before from my friend who found out the storyline up to a few chapters ahead of chapter 64. So yea….
If anyone wonders why i can see into these things so deeply or even care this much It’s cause I have nothing better to do these days and studying is boring so I use my time to have fun with friends and read/research anime and manga. This is because I am actually a college student who is majoring in animation. Specifically Asian animation. So im kinda not straying away from studying neways lol.

What a truly awful end to a great series. How the heck did Soul and Maka survive Asura’s laser beams? Those things nearly, and really should have, killed Shinigami yet they don’t so much as tear Maka and Soul’s clothes?
And the punch is just ridiculous. Here’s a guy that can survive being cut in half yet a single punch powered by friendship and courage can defeat him? BS!
Do I want another series of Soul Eater? Hell no! Not after this ending. God I really wish I didn’t watch this episode.
With all that said the rest of Soul Eater was sublime and I thoroughly enjoyed it up to this point.
i think the punch makes Asura feel fear and that is what causes him to die. anyway an idea is to keep going with the series and have soul eventually become a death scythe and then have minor enemies until Asura gets reborn from all the insanity of the world.
i thought the kishin was supposed to be a coward by nature that’s why he was covered up by those straps which i think were his skin? i don’t really remember

I really like this series :3 It had a really decent ending, although I wished they showed more of what happened to the characters after instead of that stupid really long scene of them on the building with the wind blowing — That was sort of a let down. Stupid cheap animation companies… If you have enough money to make epic ending in the stupid pokemon movie I believe you have enough for the ending of an awesome series like this. Anyway I wish they used one of the new openings (2-recent) instead of this one. I honestly can’t stand this one — although I did learn three new Japanese words off it |D
This was a pretty good series I thought. Overall I think I prefer the first season, as the second does seem to add a bit more then necessary… although it was still a pretty good story. I wouldn’t mind finding out what happened after all this, and think there should be a movie made. Not another whole season, because then it would just be dragging on for too long… but a movie just to wrap up a few of the open links they left. Overall though, great job and thank you so much for creating this website to share the joy that is Soul Eater! =D.

Call me whatever you want the ending was totally awsome! Not the best. . . but awsome non the less. No dout the manga is better than the anime but I have watched the anime in a week ,I haven’t read the manga yet, and I didn’t quite get the ending but that was f-ing sweet! I love that Maka was a wepon and I don’t care who doesn’t like it I do. The ending could have been better and I totally think Maka and Soul sould have kissed or something, sorry but I had to say that, but the manga is still going, or that’s what people are saying, so if you liked this anime at all but just didn’t like the ending read the manga! Onemanga.com is the best place to find it. Truth be told, yeah the ending did disappoint me and I still wonder how kid got away with not having a huge hole in his stomic after that blow from kishin but whatever. The ending was pretty lame in comparison to the rest of the series but at the same time you have to understand and feel the ending at the same time. The counter that only she could could truly wield against a monster made insanely powerful with fear.

dont you remember, when ashura died all the osul he had ever absorbed went everywhere, if you read the anime, the take aracnes soul, shinigami keeps it and says they will give it to them when they get 99 kishin eggs.

this is a lot later but i must admit this story had to many plot wholes like 1 what ever happened to soul during into a death scythe or any of the other weapons huh? this anime can do another arc with new weapons death scythe transformations bring maka’s mom into the story to where she is actually scene give some new characters kinda make something for the new arc like harry potter where they come in 1 year into the future are higher up in the school thing you know you could deck out the next arc and fill in all the plot wholes maybe even start some new ones right?
Well, they still didn’t release the other manga so we must sit and hope cuz i too enjoyed it (not as much as eng Bleach) but I still liked has a waiter for the new eng eps for Bleach…almost cried when I heard the ending song. Hope they release new manga chaps and make a second series of this series just like Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

I found Asura extremly funny in this episode, even if he wasn’t meant to be.
